| Waiting for a new life to come into the World. | | I thought I would just tell everyone that I am sitting here writing very very anxiously waiting for a phone call to tell me that my daughter wants us to pick her and her partner up to take them to hospital to be induced so her son can be born.
She is over due. This is made worse because her first child, my dear Grand daughter aged 3 was born 10 weeks premeture and we went through a stage where we thought that we would not only loose our baby Grand daughter but our daughter as well. They had a bad time but now 3 years on both okay and you would never guess she was only 3lb when born. This is why I am so worried about my daughter. Although I do know that any mum worries when her children are going to be parents themselves.
When I was expecting my eldest my Mum wrote a wonderful letter saying what she was thinking while waiting for me to give birth. I didnt read this until my Mum passed away and it was in her bits and pieces. I know when I read it I smiled and said to myself oh you are daft Mum. Now, I am doing exactly the same thing!
So please wish us all the luck in the world and pray all is well with both and yes selfishly that I meet my Grandson today - my first Grandson. x | |

I've always thought they do have some kind of awareness.. Like the Venus Fly Trap... the fly goes in and starts eating.. he touches one hair and a 20 second timer sets.. and then if the fly touches a second hair within the 20 second countdown, SNAP!!! the venus fly trap slams shut and the fly is imprisoned and is consumed over the course of a couple of weeks. Another one.. the Monarch butterfly lays its egg on the leaf of a milkweed.. they larve hatches out of its shell and starts eating on the milkweed plant.. the plant defends itself by producing milk and many of the caterpillars get drowned in the milk.. so only a portion of these caterpillars become butterflies. Then when the surviving caterpillars get bigger they go for the kill and disable the leaf by cutting off it's defense mechanism (the milk)... these insects and plants have some sort of intelligence.. don't you think?What say you about the wonder of plants and their symbiotic relationships with insects, birds, and other animals?[em]cheering[/em]There's lots of others... | |

| A New Life For Coffee... | | Most ppl use an automatic coffee maker to make their coffee and sometimes they quit working. They still run but you only end up with half a pot of coffee. Some ppl will figure the coffee maker is broke and toss it out. But here’s a little secret…it probably isn’t broke…it’s just clogged. About every 2-3 months I have to clean out Hubby’s coffee maker and here’s how I do it. I buy a regular bottle of white vinegar, I remove the old coffee from the pot, throw out the old grounds and filter and then fill the water reservoir with the vinegar. I turn on the coffee maker and let it run. Then I dump the pot of yucky vinegar and refill the reservoir with more vinegar and run it through again. Then I turn it off, dump the pot again and wash all the outside parts down…the filter basket (make sure you get the little spot where the coffee drips through, top and bottom), the base and heating plate and the pot. Then I fill the reservoir with plain water and run it through. I do clear water about 3 times. By then it should be running quickly again and making a full pot. My Mom didn’t know about this cleaning and has about 7 coffee makers (a couple are really expensive) that aren’t broke but... | |
| | A new life with a new job. | | Hi mylotters...I just want to share with everyone a change in my life...I was eagerly wanting another job and with gods blessings i got a new job after 2 years looking for one. There is so many difference in this current job compared to my provious job...I worked as a customer service officer where I had to handle inbound calls and basically it was a routine based job. We were not exposed to anything else apart from phone answering skills. However, I am feeling the difference in my current employer as I have to attend voice conference meeting with the other country deligates, respond to emails and most importantly my phone does not ring frequently...I feel myself in cloud 9 where everything here is unexpected..But one thing I am missing my coworkers alot...Anyone have experienced this,..,Regards

| New marriage, new life, happy and colorful at first then ... BOOM!!! | | .... ohh this is killing me. So many things running in my head right now and i dont even know where to start! .. just that i've been living in a life with so many twists and turns. yeah i know, this is just normal for two people starting a New Life together but why do i always get so upset and hurt with him? I'm having heartburns these past months cause i always get mad and cry. Yes, he's a responsible father. He brings food on the table, he gets to pay all the bills on time but as a husband ... naaahhh!! dont know. I do love him but when probs arises, he's kind of a different person. .. god, can u guys pull my tongue so i can let this all out? u dont get me i know. | a new life!! | | I have been alone rising my children from my first marriage. My ex comes around only once a month when he has nothing else on his plate.I remarried two years ago My current hubby take care of my kids as if they were his own.Now my ex comes around just to cause trouble. My hubby wants me to ban my ex from coming around at all is this fair. | |
| | going to a new life | | before my life was so full of materialistic ambitions. even if i already achieved my dreams still i was lacking not until i met God. when everything was into place i talk to God still but not as heartily as now when the world once hated me. this happened when i lost my pin in my atm and so i can't get money to buy my grandmother's medications because of that she really got mad at me and accused me of spending that money for useless things. she even quoted me as extravagant which is very hurting to hear. she even disowned me. this is how i learned to lift everything to me to God and now my life is slowly getting in the right track again. | |
