Madonna
The movies "Space Camp"
Motley Crue and other hair bands...
Guys with long hair that wore their makeup well
Atariand many other things.....I think the music of the 80's decade was the best!(Yes, I am getting old...I was just sitting here reflecting things of my past as today is my Birthday. I just turned 30 and started thinking about all the different things that have come and gone in my lifetime...that is when the 80's crossed my mind...lol)
| | Who has been the best live artist[ and/or] band you have seen? | | By far the best live act for me would be John Farnham, he is entertainment at its best, brilliant! Also Neil Diamond, saw him reluctantly a few years back, awesome concert.
The best band live? hmmm, Fleetwood Mac, Cold Chisel were tops every time I saw them, Little River Band, Slade back in the day, lol.
What about you? | |
| | My little river | | I was down to the small willage and stop by the stream and take some photos of the waterfall. | |
| | Have you ever been to Club Manila (East)? | | I've only been twice, of course I have an excuse (I'm american) hard to visit much. For those of you who don't know what Club Manila is, its a water park in the Philippines. It has wave pools, a little river for floating on inner-tubes, kiddy pools, regular pool, etc. You know water park stuff. Its a nice place to have fun, and relax. I like to people watch. Look out for the creepy americans. You know old guy with really young girl with him. | |
| | Is there really an Excuse for Abuse! | | No there isn't! But have you noticed that the abused person always comes up with a thousand good reasons as to why they are in abusive relationships and stay. But not one good reason to leave! They need to get off of their little river of denial and wake up and smell the coffee. I say there is No excuse for abuse. Its time to melt the tar and pluck the goose. I'd like to know your opinion on this subject. | |
| | Thankfully I don't take my dog to the dog park. | | I am glad I never taken my dog to the dog park today. I was watching the news and a local dog park had antifreeze purposely dumped into the little river that the dogs drink at. There were something like 15 cases already of dogs being poisoned from drinking at the park, so far one is expected not to survive. I couldn't imagine why anyone would want to be that cruel to harm someones beloved pet in such a manner. Do you take your dog to the dog park? Do you let them drink from the water? | |
| | drunk friends | | not really a questin just a funny storyI was hanging with a buddy, one who had downed a 12 on his own in about 1.5 hrs
he cried and cried for the whole ride home, over nothing, and then passed out on my floor.now for the humorI had brought home a young lady that night that I was semi interested in. I had just got to kissing her, and I heard flowing water.......................I jumped up and threw the blanket off my friend inspecting the carpet in front of him, Nothing. I sighed in relief, only to see a little river of Busch Light, heading away behind him, he friggen peed on my floor!
now I didn't say any thing, i just cleaned it up, and gave him a new blanket.in the morning he changed his clothes and wrapped the blanket and his clothes in a bag, not saying ANYTHING. he just plopped down on the couch to light a smoke, and asked, you guys want some breakfast???
| | Six Flags White Water Splash Park! | | hi everybody. i just wanted to let everybody know that my family and i just got back from vacation...we went to Atlanta, Georgia to visit Six Flags over Georgia and the next day, we went to Six Flags White Water Atlanta Splash Park! oh, it was so much fun....my family and i usually go to Dollywood, in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, but this year we went to Atlanta.
Six Flags White Water Splash Park is where they have the water ride called The Tornado! oh my gosh, it was so much fun to ride! at the bottom of the ride, you got in line, and at the end of that line you got your raft and carried it up steps to get to the top of the attraction, when it was our turn to get on the ride, we went around a little curve and from there it was almost straight down into that big funnel! oh my gosh!, i rode the tornado! it was so much fun, but so tiring that we only rode it once. lol. i screamed all the way on that ride. lol.
they also had a wave pool, free falling water slides, and a little river that you could float around in.
has anybody here on Mylot ever been to Six Flags White Water Atlanta Splash Park? if so, tell me about your trip there...if you haven't been there tell me about it!
thanks... | |
| | OMG! They ate them ALL!!! | | OK I have had an established aquarium for over 6 months now. A couple of months ago we got a dozen river snails from a friend. The snails were doing great and they had over a couple months multiplied to over 100 snails. My kids and I loved to count the snails everyday and see what the highest count was going to be. Last night my husband decided that we should add a couple of fish to the community so he bought 2 Red Bellied Pacu. If you don't know what a Pacu is, it is a distant cousin to the Piranha. But unlike the Piranha, a Pacu is supposed to be a more docile, primarily herbivore. We did know that Pacu would eat shrimp but we never thought that our little river snails would be put on the menu. After introducing the Pacu to the tank we watched them for a couple of hours and everything was fine. We noticed they did eat a couple of snails but no big deal we have over 100, a couple wont be missed. This morning when I got up I went to check the tank and the Pacu are doing great. However I could only find 8 snails. We went from over 100 snails to 8 overnight. The Pacu ate ALL my snails!! My kids and I are very sad about this (the kids more so than I) But on the bright side I have a... | |
