| Who out there........................................ | | listens to inspirational/gospel music? Yesterday, while at Target, I picked up two cd's: One from Kirk Franklin (his latest one called-The Fight of My Life) and the 2nd one by J Moss (sorry don't have the title of his cd, it's at my house). Let me tell you, Kirk Franklin's cd is marvelous, wonderful, powerful, deep. Every track on the cd I like and there is a song on the cd he made with Tobymac that sounds like a rock song and I love it and I recommend everyone to go get it. I listened to it 3 times yesterday. J Moss' cd is nice as well but I like Kirk's better. Hope you get it so you can enjoy it along with me. What inspirational artists do you like? | |
| | Users | | Do you have any "friends" that only want to use you. They don't care about you or your feelings. All they care about is what they can get from you. I have an ex-friend like this. The only time she calls or even acknowledges my existance is when something exciting happens in her life.She knows how much I can for her, but she does not want to be bothered with me 99.9% of the time. I am too straight laced for her. We have absolutely nothing in common. So, most of the time she hangs around her roommate and I hang around mind.About a month ago she got some pictures of a new baby cousin that she had been waiting for for a long time. She came down and shared the pictures with me. We talked and laughed and hung out together. The next day, she was acting like she did not know who I was. Then five days ago, she went to a Bible book store down the street from our apartment and bought a Bible for her mother and a Kirk Franklin CD. We hadn't talked in a while and all of a sudden I got a call from her, telling me all about the things that she had purchased. She came down to visit and then she said, I wont be speaking to you tomorrow. I didn't think much of it, so we went on having... | |

| Kirk Franklin | | I did not know that Kirk Franklin was so crazy!! I still can't believe I saw him live! That man can really dance, he like took gospel dancing to a whole new level. Fun in the Son was so much more fun and HOT with him there. I can hardly wait until next year.I only saw Papa San and Kirk i arrived too late but Kirk's performance really made up for what missed.I think best dressed should really continue this Ministry and I pray that God will continue to use and bless them | |

| | i like toby mac's music | | on sunday morning i try to watch the gospel music videos, and i love that song i don't want to gain the whole world and lose my soul with kirk franklin and mandisa i love that song. i am thinking about going to get his cd when i can. do yall remember the group dc talk that was an awesome group especially when they had ya boy carmen on them tracks. man he be killin it. i miss that. i have always wanted to see them live. but one day i will go to a toby mac concert that is gonna rock.!!!!! and i have always wanted to go to a carmen concert i am going to ask and see if he can do a reunion tour with dc talk and maybe do some of his old songs that would be great!!!!!well what are the other members of dc talk been up to? does anyone know. if not it's cool. | A great save! | | A good friend of mine recently lost her mother and is at this moment having a memorial service for her. I was supposed to go but didn't because I came down with a really bad cold or the flu yesterday. However she asked me to burn her a cd of songs for the service and after. I never knew she liked gospel music let alone hip hop style gospel! Who knew? I was playing some Kirk Franklin and Mary Mary when she came over a couple days after she passed, to ask me to burn her some appropriate music. She didn't have any idea what songs nor where to find them aside from the fact that her computer is a relic. Long story short I found about 20 different secular and gospel songs which applied to the situation and burned her a cd. She came by for it two days ago but it wasn't done and she didn't have time to wait, had to pick her kids up from school and then it just slipped her mind until she got home that night.Since I was supposed to be going I told her I would bring it with me. Except that I called this morning to tell her that I was sick and so I wasn't coming. She came by and picked up the cd. She went to play it and it didn't work! | I absolutely love the new Hero Album!!! Anyone else? | | Kirk Franklin is so amazing. For a man to put together they type of music that he does and he can't even sing! This man is great and I love the fact that he has been through so much and is therefore very humble. The worship pastor at my church had the opportunity to record with Kirk and be one of his singers on the new album and so we got to him. He is great. | |
| | New Album | | Has anyone heard the song, Imagine Me? I saw the video and just began to weep. It is so powerful. The clarity of God's grace is portrayed so incredibly.
