| | Does anyone know any good Old School hip hop, pop, R&B songs? | | I'm an old school type of person and I like to take it back. I accept many old school songs. They all had rhythm and flow and weren't just being pushed out to make a hit single or make a record. The music nowadays all are being made for monetary reasons. I just feel more soul in the older type of music. Do you think the music/noise of today's music gets repetitive or are we advancing into a new style? | Recommend me some good Hip-Hop Music | | I've been listening for Hip-Hop ever since i was eleven(11) years old, but the number of tracks on my ipod from 2002 until now, is pretty minimal, Basically alot of the hip-hop that seems to be out these days, doesn't really do it for me, since i Live in Belgium, i dont have music channels on my TV, and stuffs that gets on the radio seems to be pretty mainstream, i guess i'm pretty ignorant, i know that the US has lot more specialist in Tv and radio hip-hop, and i'd be really happy if you'd throw some recomandations on me.

| | Is Drake the new leader of Hip Hop and R&B?? | | I recently just saw Drakes show at Vanderbilt University. He was sooooo amazing! Despite him never coming out with an album, everyone at the concert knew EVERY word to his songs. And i mean ALL of them. That is so crazy to me. He his really breaking down some doors and the ladies love him! I think he might be the new leader in Hip hop. How about you? | |

| What do you think of hip hop and rap? | | I used to think hip hop and rap were awful.
Too loud,too shouty and not at all musical but over the last few years I have changed my mind.
Now I keep an open mind when I know that they are going to play on the radio and oft times, they are not bad at all.
The more rhythmic ones are ideal for using in my skipping routines.
Some are really cleverly worded and poetical.
What do you think? Are you open to listening to hip hop and rap or do you have fixed views either negative or positive about the genres. | |

| auto-tune is killing hip hop | | Am i the only person out there that is against the use of auto tune in songs. I personally think it takes away from the quality of the music. To me it sounds like some stupid computer program. Recently Jay-z released a song called death of auto tune and I would like to say That I completely agree with the song and Jay-z.
